National Fentanyl Awareness Day – April 29
📅 Tuesday, April 29 is the fourth annual National Fentanyl Awareness Day, a day to raise awareness about the increasing presence of illicit fentanyl in the drug supply and the growing number of overdose deaths it causes.
This observance encourages education about the dangers of illegally made fentanyl, especially for youth, young adults, and people who may be unaware their drugs contain fentanyl. Knowing the risks and how to respond with tools like naloxone can help save lives.
